Kinder Math & Coding (SK, grade 1)

Service Description

In this fun and effective program, students will: - Learn age/grade appropriate coding using robots - Participate in prep of essential Math skills for Grade 1 - Think critically about ideas and information in Math - Solve problems and create computational representations of Mathematical situations by writing and/or executing code - test out different approaches and learn from their mistakes as part of the learning process - increase grades and confidence while participating in instruction that focuses on developing operational skills, problem-solving abilities, and mathematical fluency, as well as innovation and coding skills This course is suitable for students entering SK or entering Grade 1 in Sept 2023. Learning will take place in small groups. All courses are led by specially trained, highly skilled Ontario Certified Teachers. Click 'Request to book' for more information.
