Princess Math & Coding (Gr. 2 & 3 Prep)

Service Description

Does your child love all things princesses? In this fun and effective 8 session summer course, students will : - Learn age/grade appropriate coding using robots - Participate in essential prep of Math skills for Grades 2 & 3 - Solve problems and create computational representations of Mathematical situations by writing and executing code, including code that involves sequential or concurrent events - Develop and enhance operational Math skills - Develop and enhance positive attitudes to Mathematics and Coding - Build relationships with peers, and learn strategies on how to communicate ideas effectively - Test out different approaches and learn from mistakes as part of the learning process This course is suitable for students entering Grades 2 or 3 in Sept 2023. Learning will take place in groups consisting of up to 10 students. All courses are led by specially trained, highly skilled Ontario Certified Teachers.
